Telescopic Forks

What is Telescopic Forks? A telescopic fork is a set of forks that can extend forward and retract, much like a telescope. How does it work? The attachment has a set of fork sleeves that slide out from the main forks set. The forklift's hydraulic system pushes these inner forks forward, increasing their reach. Why they are used?

The main purpose of telescopic forks is to handle pallets that are deeper than the forklift can normally reach. This is crucial for:

  • Double-Deep Racking: Accessing the second pallet in a row without the forklift having to drive into the narrow aisle.

  • Loading/Unloading: Safely working inside long, confined spaces like shipping containers or trucks, where the operator can pick up a pallet from the side without entering fully.
